IT’S A MOVEMENT! The 3rd and final video in The Digital Liberator Series has landed.

23 May

So, i’ve been spending the last few months working for Base and it’s been a blast!

This video marks the conclusion of NZ Music Month for 2013 and a new era for Base FM.

It must be said that we here at Base HQ were under much deliberation allocating a name to this episode. There was a lot to say in one small heading! The dilemma came from the need to highlight the storyline, while striving to convey a message of lasting significance that stands for the evolution of Base. At last, the old ‘KISS’ method prevailed, leaving the viewer with one key message.

‘It’s a movement’ is what it is. Without trying to sound too proud or patriotic, Base is going places. That’s a fact.

It’s radio resurgence in an honest fervent fashion, and we may be bias, but as Chip Matthews points out clearly in the beginning of this video; ‘It’s the ultimate community radio station”.

We’re passionate about sharing the documentary series as the vehicle to drive the delivery of the Base FM vibes worldwide, and we hope that in doing so, more people will log into our ‘movement’ and share the good vibes with us.

On a final note we wanted to cast love and gratitude to all of our amazing Liberators, artists, friends who put their faces and names up to support and promote Base for this campaign, we could not have done this without their generous support!

And a special thanks needs to go out to all the Base FM DJs and greater community who have shared the videos, updated their profile pictures, re-shared images and posts. You are the essence of BASE.

And of course, our valuable partners who have been extremely important in supporting the campaign and ensuring we received a greater reach and introduced new people to the Base FM sound and culture.

And last, but not least, none of this would’ve been possible if it wasn’t for Reelgood Productions.  Their vision and creativity brought this campaign to life. And despite a massively busy schedule in their work calendar, they nailed it. We strongly recommend Jacob and the team to any business who wants to increase their perfection in the digital world.
