Burton Open – Dates and location Announced

The NZ Burton Open Dates and Locations have been announced for 2011!

I am once again STOKED to be working alongside Burton NZ, Higher Ground and NZ 500 on this awesome kiwi event.

Based in Wanaka, i’ll be in charge of all media relations, accreditation, coverage and online content management.  I will also,  of course have a finger in the music and events pie.. But stay tuned on that one!

The Burton NZ  Open (NZO) is pleased to announce that the 2011
The event will again be hosted at Cardrona Alpine Resort in the Cardrona Valley of Wanaka NZ.
After a hugely successful 2010 event, the Burton NZ Open is set to raisethe bar once again, whilst stamping its mark
on the global snowboard scene.
“We are stoked to again host the event at Cardrona,” says event manager Reuben Yeoman. “The team at Cardrona
recognize the importance of the NZO to the global competition tour and as such our combined effort is providing
riders with the facilities and formats they require to perform at their best.   Its great to be part of such a progressive
event and global series.”
The Burton NZ Open is the first stop on the prestigious Burton Global Open series and will be the first major slope-
style and halfpipe events of the 2012 TTR World Tour season.  The NZ Open is a 5Star event on the TTR World Tour
and will officially kick off the new TTR Slopestyle and Halfpipe World Tour Ranking lists.
Running from Monday 8th through Saturday 13th August, the Burton NZ Open is an event not to be missed. Full

Dearest Blog,

You know I love you, but I have been pre-occupied with my traveling and have abandoned you. Now, things have changed and i’m on my way back to NZ  after an awesome 4 months in Europe. Never fear, you will get serious attention soon as there will be lots to write about with the cool things coming up that I am involved in..
