Find Me Amoungst The Rhythm of Burning Man 2013

It’s only hours before I meet up with the early set up crew for our ‘Camp Bang Bang’, and there is still so much to do!

I’m here in Tahoe – it’s an earthly woodlam paradise. Beautifully built lodges blend gloriously into the towering pines and the lake is glistening in a post rain-strom purity.  It’s good to be back in Tahoe.  I’m lapping up as much of this crispy, clean mountain air as humanly possible before I hit my new dusty home in Black Rock City.

Without spewing a ton of text right now (even tho i’m feeling creative and could write all day!) the purpose of this blog is to let you know where I will be on Planet Playa. I’m also stoked to say that I’ll be DJing a few times, so I hope to see some of your beautiful heads bobbing among the sexy, dusty faces of Burning Man 2013

THE DUCK POND is hosting a funk jam on Friday! Not sure when or how, but I’ll be there smashing out some party funk jams with the Duck Pond crew, hopefully in the late afternoon with enough time to
then head out to dance my face off to Jamie Jones and friends at Music and Savages!

Am pumped to play this party, it’s the first annual H2: Oasis, After the burn for two days at the Sands Regency in Downtown Reno. Bring your fire toys, hoops, and dusty bottoms. Come play!

TIME TO GET DUSTY!!

Base FM Showcase – Queenstown & Wanaka

I’m thrilled to be heading back down to my second home in the deep south again this weekend, with Base FM Station Manager and Dj mystro, Dylan C to jam a couple of shows and big up BASE FM!!

We’re hitting Queenstown on Friday afternoon jumping straight into stylee Subee which will be our ride for the weekend.  Huge big ups to James Clark for the lend (we love ya bro!), then we’ll head straight out to see Mixed Bizness OG, Sammy G at his brand new restaurant and bar in Arrowtown, La Rumbler. Definitely excited experience the hype.

Then we’ll high-tail it back to town to park up at Tardis in Cow lane for a night of BASS with Locals, Dj Alias and Turbo Hag, and thanks to the good guys at Nomads Queenstown we’ll have some quality digs for the night – on-ya guys! We’re stoked.

Then, it’s a B-Line to Wanaka where we’ll be catching up with our Friends Lynn Christie from Rippon and our boy Damon AKA The Nomad for a few beverages with enough time to kick back and marvel at the glorious Lake Wanaka before the Base FM takeover at Barluga in Post Office Lane.

These events aren’t possible with a little help from our friends, so we wanted to thank everyone who jumped on board to make it happen!
